Fun And Profitable Way To Approach PPC-SEO

Advertising your services or products on the Internet is both effective and competitive. There are several ways to go about attracting traffic to your website; One of the choices you can choose from  is SEO,or search engine optimization campaign. Both PPC, SEO are targeted to get your website placed as close to the top of search engine results as possible.

One of the differences is that it takes minutes to set up a pay-per-click campaign versus months for a good SEO campaign. Pay-Per-Click is a simple paid advertising that most search engines, including some of the largest ones, now offer. It needs a bid for a “per-click” basis, which translates to your company paying the bid amount every time the search engine directs a visitor to your site.

There is the bonus that when a per-click site sends your website traffic, your site often appears in the results of other prevalent search engines. As with all marketing campaigns, there are advantages and disadvantages. If you understand and watch your pay-per-click campaign often, it can be effective.

One of the greatest advantages is that you never have to tweak your web pages to change your position in search engine results, as you must do in a typical SEO campaign. What you do have to do in a pay-per-click campaign is pay a fee.

Another advantage is the simplicity of the pay-per-click. You just bid and you’re up and running. It doesn’t demand any specific technical knowledge. Though the more you know about search engines and keywords, the easier – and more effective – they will be. The downside is that pay-per-click is essentially a bidding war. A higher bid than yours will lower your position on search engine results.

This means that you will have to raise your bid to regain your position – which can obviously become expensive, especially if you are adding to your bid because more keywords do not add extra cost. Obviously, some keywords are much more effective than others. Of the popular search engines that offer pay-per-click, one called Overture provides an online tool that will give you the data on how often particular keywords are entered their search engine.

Overture Search Engine Tool

They also offer suggestions for keywords after you enter a description of your site. In pay-per-click, this written description is crucial. You must understand that the object of your description is not being too generalized, but to be as specific as possible so that only those visitors who are likely to buy your service or product go to your site.

You must use expert marketing copy to guarantee that your description is both precise and enticing to attract the most ideal candidates to your site. This description is your most powerful tool to insure that your bid is profitable. Another essential element of pay-per-click advertising is that you constantly monitor your bid. It is very important that you bear in mind that the results of the top search engines providing pay-per-click advertising, usually appear on other popular search engines.

Because of this, the competition for top ranking is intense, and often you will find that the bidding price balloons too high for pay-per-click to yield a profit. If this happens, it is advisable to withdraw your bid on that particular keyword and try another one. Remember, when you pay too much per click to make a profit, you are in essence losing the bidding war.

Since losing is not acceptable, you must have a plan in place to closely track the effectiveness of your keyword. It is advisable to check your keywords on at least a daily basis.

Not only is careful monitoring important, but the analysis of visitor behavior can produce valuable knowledge about consumer motivation, habits, and trends. Expert monitoring and consumer analysis is essential to your overall business needs, and will also insure that your pay-per-click campaign is a success.

You can calculate this value by dividing the profit you make on your website over a given period of time by the total number of visitors for that same time period.

For example, if your site made $5,000 in profits and there were 2,500 visitors, each visitor would be theoretically worth 50 cents. The basic formula is profits divided by visitors. The figure of 50 cents per visitor is the point at which your business breaks even. The only way around this is to bid less for these phrases or you will be paying too much for each individual hit.

The key (pun intended) to success is to learn everything you can about search engine keyword research. If you are lazy PPC is not for you. What I mean is that you’ll have to watch it every day.

You have a business. And you have a web site for that business. But you are lacking the desired traffic. You want to get the word out about your site. For this reason, you choose to write articles that are intended for marketing. Your problem now lies on how to syndicate those articles?

Step by Step

There are many ways that you can go about in syndicating your articles. Here are only some that you can consider as your basic guide especially if you are new to the concept.

1. Original content

You have to tap on to your target market in the very vast cyber world. And how are you going to do this? By providing what they are looking for. For example, you are selling mattresses and you want to capture people in the medical industry.

Your articles can go like tips to finding a good mattress after an endless shift, or how about the medical benefits of a good mattress for someone in the medical field.

Those were just samples and at top of the head thoughts. The idea here is to know who you want to listen to you and make sure that they will really do.

2. Usually, the articles are short, from 500 to 2000 words depending on the requirement of the article submission site.

The way to do is to establish yourself as an expert in the field of interest where you will be able to tap the kind of market who will be interested in buying the products that you are offering.

The articles should not be directly promoting your products. You may get banned from the article submission sites if you do so. There is an allotted space for you to advertise your web site and that can be found on the author’s bio.

You can link that to your web site so the people who will be interested with you and what you have to offer would know where to go.

3. Decide on the article submission site

Use the vast resource available on the web to know what these good sites are. Stay away from the spammy type. You wouldn’t want to be associated with such.

Track down which sites rank higher and which of them cater to the people whom you are targeting. Enlist on those sites and start submitting good articles.

4. You can also syndicate your articles to offline mediums such as newspapers or magazines. You will be able to tap onto a larger field this way. And you can also direct those people to your web site address.

5. RSS

This means Really Simple Syndication. This will distribute your articles widely suing an automatic process. Not only will you able to reach a broader audience, you will gain important backlinks to your web site.

At this day and age, syndicating your articles is easier. You just have to settle on how you will go about it. This will help you a lot in promoting your business because you will be able to get noticed by more people.

Now that you know some of the steps on how to syndicate your articles, you can start on pounding your brain and the keyboard to create articles that will really be helpful in helping you achieve your goals.

With the Internet the new venue for business, article marketing has become the new trend for advertising and marketing products to consumers. These articles do not only provide information on a variety of topics, it also allows visitors to see the sites. It is because of this wide range of content why it is so easy now to research over the Internet.

Article marketing, to those who are not yet familiar with the field, is the use of articles to help introduce the products that the sites are selling. These articles will often contain a bio box and a byline that will include the name of the business and the contact information. Article marketing is also used in increasing the rank of a site in search engines like Yahoo and Google.

You see, the more articles you put into the directory, the better will your site’s search results will be. Of course, websites that are on top of the sites will have more visitors and in turn better sales from the increased consumer viewing.

A site that has reliable and good content will not only expect the support of the online viewers but also advertisers who feel that they will be viewed more in the website. These companies are called online advertisers.

Some online advertisers can post their advertisement for free in exchange for a percentage of the income generated by the ads or the number of views of the ad. Some sites however sell their space to online advertisers. The pop up advertisements that you see in yahoo every time you open the search engine is an example of this paid advertisement.

But this usage of articles in article marketing has also led to the decrease in content and structure quality of the write-ups. Because many sites are putting in more articles than they can finish, the articles are often haphazardly done and unfinished. Many will contain grammar mistakes and even wrong spelling. Some sites will even have unfinished articles with the paragraph all about the topic you searched on but the body of the article about an entirely different topics. It will take you a while before you can sort out everything.

The trend of article marketing has also led to a lot of copied content or rephrased content. When you try keyword search and click on the websites that come out in the results, you will notice that a lot of them will have the same content. Some will have the same exact content while others will just be a re-written version of the original that was posted.

From being used as a way to increase the credibility of the product and giving information to the consumers and researchers, article marketing has become a business that has squeezed out the quality from the articles that are posted.

Because of this, researchers on the internet have been cautioned to only check the websites that are being kept by reliable sources such as universities, government agencies, foreign organizations and research facilities. Some sources of information over the internet are not actually to be trusted when it comes to content and originality.

Article marketing have definitely changed the face of the Internet. The question is: Is it for the better or for the worse? We will have to wait and see in the future.  Download Free software

Can article marketing help your business? The answer is yes because not only are you able to post your articles for free but you get to reach a specific audience that is interested in your product or service.

Article marketing can help your business the minute you submit these to different article directories. If these are approved for posting, people will be able to visit your site or may want to get in touch with you as they click the link or look at the resource box.

The resource box is usually found at the bottom of the web page. Here, writers can put their name, website and email.

If your article had a significant impact on the reader and they would like to post your article in their websites, they can do so which means more people will be able to see your work without you having to do anything.

Articles that are posted in directories usually ask you for keywords so this can easily be found when someone visits the site. These keywords are also given to search engines so if people type it in, your article will also appear and they will be able to view it.

Another way of getting people to see your site is giving this in the form of a report or e-book to potential customers. With all the information there, that person will surely want to know more and get in touch with you in the future. People who are serious about article marketing have to venues where the articles can be displayed. The first is high traffic distribution sites while the second is submitted to highly relevant niche publishers. The difference between the two is that although the second will not be read by many, it will be easy for those who run this site to refer qualified visitors to the author.

It doesn’t matter if the article you are writing about is for a small, medium or large business because there are ways to promote it. For instance, if your article is for a small restaurant, you should put in the title something related to the location of the establishment. The same goes for the medium and large scale business.

The key here is to come up with a catchy title that your audience can relate to.

Of course there are other ways of promoting your business such as paying for pop up ads and meta-tags. But why would you spend when you can get this for free?

So, take advantage of this free marketing tool and see what it can do as it has done for others. You surely wouldn’t want to pass up on the chance so write something about your business or get someone to do it for you.

Is article marketing better than conventional print publications? The answer is yes because people will easily find your article by typing in some keywords. Print publication on the other hand is difficult because you will have to browse through how many back issues of newspapers and magazines just to find it.

Also, conventional publication is only relevant to the time it was written. The online form will be there for many years ahead as this information is stored somewhere in the cyber space Just make sure this is updated if something new comes along so you are sure that article marketing is able to help your business. money making report

Practice Safe Selling Customers Act like a Spider

Most small business owners are so eager to sell stuff they forget the visitors have a buying process. You must learn to respect the process the customer is going through.  Last night I was thinking about a way to teach this.   In the process, this story comes to mind. This is the way I learn how to do it.

Ever hear the story of the turtle and the spider?

The turtle is resting at the side of a creek and spider is next to him. The spider says to the turtle. “Do you think you are going to cross that creek any time soon?”

The turtle says. “Yep, I’ll probably swim across that creek.”

So the spider says, “Can I go with you? I can’t swim.”

The turtle looks at the spider and says are you insane? If I put you on my back and start swimming across the creek, you’re going to bite me, and when you do, I’m going to die.

The spider responds, “That ridiculous. Think about it. We’re halfway across the creek. I’m on your back. I bite you. You’re going down. Where am I going?

The turtle thinks about that and says, “You’re going down with me.” He pauses for a moment and continues. “Okay, hop on”

The turtle swims about half the distance across the creek with spider on his back and then it happens.  Zap! The spider bites the turtle’s neck and they’re both drowning.

The turtle looks up at the spider and says. “Why?”

And spider says, “It’s my nature.”

People are a lot like the spider. We do what’s natural for us. Our nature will force us to return to mediocrity. People adjust to whatever is natural for them. It’s their nature.

It’s important to identify what pain your customers are experiencing

No one wants to return to pain. Your product or service must convince them the pain is going to go away. Make sure you tell them that you are going to point them in the right direction, you can’t loose with this one.

When you hire a writer for your business he or she must know how to focus on their pain. There is a right way to do it and wrong way. If you are not sure about this read one of those romance novels.

I know its fiction but the real story is about the pain they go through to be together.

I’m sure you have heard this statement before ‘Content is King’.  Well it’s just not king it’s everything. Yet marketers ignore the truth of this common-sense phrase. Surfers use the web to find information first.   They want free information that is written in a breezy manner.

Second, they want advice based on your own experience.  Advanced marketers have been saying it all along. Find out want they want and give it to them. But my experience with this idea is that it is too simple for most business owners.

- Wait a minute, what about… SEO? It’s the content of the page that is important to them that is why they are there in the first place. The content of the page is primary for Search Engines. They will look at content first when considering your site.

Don’t get me wrong, Meta Tags are a necessity when optimizing, but they are much less important than content.

When people arrive at your site, one of two things will happen. They will either find something of interest and stay, or they’ll turn around and leave. They make this decision within seconds. You need to have what that they want to read or your click through rate will be for nothing.

You can’t go wrong with…this; you need to have something on the page that will make them stay. If you can’t come up with something hire a writer. Writers are there to make people stay. That is what they get paid to do.

For me at least, you can never have too much information. I believe there is no such thing as information overload. The more information you have for your business the easier it is for you to decide.

The more interest in your website the longer they will stay. And down the road you might make some money from them.

Borrowing content word-for-word is not the way to go because of Copyright laws. But you can always create your own content. Remember the most valuable content is unique information that no one can find elsewhere.

When selling products or services make sure you have information about the features. Include everything that anyone would want to know about your product. Here is an example of one my  sales pages. daily cash system

Think of it as leading your reader through your mind. Try to arrange your site so they see what you see.

Example: a page on the golf grip could lead to a page on golf equipment. Then lead to books on the golf swing etc. People are OBSESSIVE’S on the internet. If a person likes to fish they want to read about everything connected to fishing. Even if they are not using the bait or fishing rods that you are selling they want to read about it.  And they just buy and buy and buy.

An SEO Habit-Don’t Be Afraid to Get a Top Position

Well, we’ve got great news for you. It’s really not difficult to do search engine optimization you can save hundreds of dollars, and get the same results as the professionals do.

Let’s be honest, does the whole idea of doing Internet Marketing intimate you? Are you considering hiring a professional to do SEO for your business?

You can save hundreds of dollars, and get the same results as they do. But try this first. You will probably get better results from highly qualified professionals, but you should perform these do-it-yourself actions first. Once you’ve done some of this work it will be easier to decide if a professional is worth paying.

Basic SEO is simple and easy – all it takes is the willingness to put in the work. Once you know the ropes, it’s not that difficult though it can be time-consuming.

You could choose to name the page after one of your products or services, for example.

You should put your most important keywords in your title tags – you don’t need to worry about singular or plural forms as search engines account for these changes usually. Whatever you do, don’t call your home page ‘Home’ – make the title a mini-description of the page.

Description tag is still used by some search engines to display information about your website to users and help them decide whether they’ve found what they are looking for. Not all search engines bother with this, though most will put some bearing on it (even if it is minuscule).

Alt tags let you describe an image or graphic file – they’re the pop-up descriptions that appear when you hover your mouse over a graphic, or when the graphic can’t be downloaded for whatever reason.

Having keyword density in all of your content is good. But keep in mind that each search engine has its own needs. When it comes to how many times that a keyword or phrase should be in the content for the page to be relevant.

Somewhere around 5 percent is a roughly ideal. But this isn’t always possible, and you shouldn’t force it. Don’t overdo it, or the search engines might mark you down.

If you follow the advice above, you can do-it-yourself and do fine. But meanwhile smart marketers have a back-up plan because this takes some time to perfect. Here is a system to put some money in your pocket while you are working on perfecting your SEO.   Money Making System

In the future companies will let loose with those old tell and sell habits and adopt the new marketing revolution, which is content marketing. Think past the newsletter or article you about to publish.

You can do much more for your newsletter and articles if you make your content work harder for you. How? Easy. Think outside the next piece of content you write. Imagine a whole bunch of potential customers is wearing a baseball cap with “so what” written on the front.

Rather that’s what they are thinking when you invite them to read your emails join your mailing list or visit your web site. In the real world of content marketing the customer has done so much research about their problems in advance all they have to do is kick the tires so to speak, and they are ready to make a decision.

Hold up, it’s only fair that I should give you an example of bad content.

Examples of bad content:

You should get rid of mission/vision statements, if you don’t you’ll end up as just another kid on the block with a weak marble game. Mission and vision statements may be important to your company internally.  They don’t even deserve a place on your website.  Why? Because they are about you. They rarely have anything to do with a visitor.

When the customer comes to your website they are looking for a reason to click away. To capture their attention and hold it the content must be about them.

Here’s an example of content marketing getting clobbered by the importance of a company-self centered clichés and lost its freshness.

I swear I didn’t invent these two statements.

We are dedicated to providing a long-term commitment to expanding a world-class staff development with quality solutions and added value from the top-down.

We are committed to focusing on top grade management leadership by expansion of opportunities, functionality, at all levels and employee dignity.

Traditional marketing is not going to go away but it’s out of control and having a nervous breakdown. Things are changing faster than a politician mind. We have not seen things like this in the last 100 years. The consumer is in control.

Companies who invest in content marketing now will leave the competition lagging.

So what are the new rules? How can you take advantage of new technology, changing behaviors and hyperconnected consumers to benefit your business? What is the future of content marketing? Glad you asked.

Content Marketing tip even your mother would love.

The American consumer is confronted with about 3,550 marketing messages a day. That’s about one every 24 seconds. And when you think about all the ways we can be contacted now, it’s no wonder! I mean, the old mediums still exist (eg, radio, TV, Newspapers, Magazines). Then, there’s new media (ie, cell phones, iPhones, e-mail, social media, blackberries, etc.).

People don’t want to be sold anymore like the old days they want information to help them make informed decisions.

And, this information has to be current, relevant and in-depth (no thinly disguised sales pieces) to the prospects’ end goal – which is to solve their problem — and if you’ll remember, this why they logged on to the internet in the first place.

If you’re not investing in it now and your competition is, where do you think your business will be in relation to theirs in three, five or seven years?

So, I will leave you with this. Custom content has the ability to resonate with your customers with a story that they can identify with. This is more powerful than [Traditional] advertising.

With a little help You Can Understand SEO-Really

Writing articles for SEO can be one of the greatest ways to get free targeted traffic when you know how to do it right. What does that mean you might ask?  Well the answer is in your own style. When I started online writing articles I tried to write for the search engines.  For me, that was one of my worst mistakes and I learned a valuable lesson.

If you do it wrong you are wasting time. Create quality targeted content and you are home free. Write for people and the search engine will follow. Risky you say.

Most people see taking risks as opening themselves up to unnecessary, maybe even dangerous chances. But the truth is, avoiding risks won’t keep you safe, nor will it guarantee a profitable online business either.

In fact, the opposite is often true. It’s like the monkey story: A monkey sees a nut in a hole and reaches in to grab it. Once he’s closed his fist around it, he can’t get his hand back out of the narrow opening. Now he’s stuck. He can’t free himself unless he let’s go of the nut, but because he’s afraid to lose it, he won’t let go.

Trying to avoid risks is like clinging to that nut. You may think you’re playing it safe by holding on to what you have, but in reality, you’re just hindering your own progress.

Few people know that if you have a 5-page web site and don’t add any new ones Google will not come back into your site unless you add more. One of the reason Blogs are so successful with the search engines is because blogs are updated regularly, with content.

Gone are the days of submission to the search engines. The search engines will find you with the inbound links pointing to your site.  Even if you have been living in a hut for the last few years? Wake up. If you have good unique content people will talk and link to your site and tell their friends. Darn what else do you need to make it clear?

Oops I have to watch it, my personality is coming out. I’m forceful can’t you tell?

By just writing lots of articles, about two to three hundred, will improve your search rankings. But, if your site is confronted with several competitor sites that contain similar content pages, then you will have to use other methods to increase traffic with your articles.

Title is Important. Every article that you create should be unique and have an equally unique title. You will need to take your web page title seriously because the entire feel of your articles depends on your titles fascination. When writing articles for SEO, you will need to create a title with your keyword phrase since search engines pay close attention to titles and keywords when setting up your ranking.

The way I get good titles is by scanning the women magazines. You know the ones like Cosmo, Redbook, Vanity Fair I’m sure I missed some but you get the point. When you are working on articles always tie the headlines in with the latest gossip. Oops, did it again I mean the latest news.

Pick a title that you like and adjust it for the niche that you are selling in.

Check it out below:

The original articles was this: “What nobody told you about marriage”

When I turned that around it goes like this: “What nobody told you about AIDA- 1% and 2% conversion rates sucks?”

If you like what you’ve just read, you may want to sign up with us. We have a good time, and occasionally even talk about things that can help you make more money online. (Okay, it’s mostly the latter, but having a little fun with life never hurts.)
